A year on from opening their dream eatery in Arklow, the Brazilian duo behind The Berry Coffee café believe they have flourished on the town’s notoriously challenging Main Street thanks to their loyal local customers, an ever-changing menu and the resounding popularity of their take on a national favourite.
Having left their highly successful burger joint back in Espirito Santo to learn English and everything about Irish fare, foodie friends Thiago Nunes and Jorge Castro resigned from their jobs at a busy Dublin gastropub last year to carve out their own culinary oasis.
