The current Leinster chairman Derek Kent has been nominated to challenge for the GAA presidency at Congress at tonight’s Wexford County Board convention.
The Wexford native served as county chair from 2017 to 2020 and has been Leinster chair since 2023. His three-year term expires in January, about six weeks before the Congress election for which Tipperary’s Ger Ryan has already been declared.
