Wild Ireland transforms into the Wild Arctic for the festive season.

The Wild Arctic hosts reindeer, arctic foxes, and snowy owls. The winter wonderland is decked with Christmas lights and offers an opportunity to meet Santa.

The Wild Arctic began during Covid-19, when it became difficult to obtain funds to feed the animals. A ticket is required for admission to the Wild Arctic, which can be purchased on the website.

Wild Ireland is an animal sanctuary based in Dundrain, Burnfoot. Established by Killian McLaughlin in 2019, a Buncrana native who is also a solicitor and zoologist.

Wild Ireland offers rescue and gives a natural habitat to various animals who have been abandoned, exploited or abused. Not only that, but the sanctuary also hosts educational talks in a bid to inform visitors of important conservation issues and welfare.
