A man has been seriously injured following a workplace accident in Co Donegal.
The man, who is aged in his 60s, was working on housing site in the Dungloe area.
The man was rushed to hospital where he is in a serious condition.
The Health and Safety Authority has been notified and an investigation into the incident has been launched.
A Garda spokesperson confirmed to Donegal Daily “Gardai in Ballyshannon were alerted to a work place accident that occurred yesterday afternoon Monday 8th December, 2025 at Chapel Road, Dungloe, Co. Donegal at approximately 1.30pm.
“A male aged in his 60s was removed from the scene to Letterkenny University Hospital and remains in a serious condition.
“The scene has been examined and the Health and Safety Authority has been notified.”
