Following the delay of the Starlink 6-92 mission, the SpaceX Falcon 9 B1067 has set a new record for the space firm. The just-completed Starlink 6-92 mission was the 32nd flight for SpaceX Falcon 9 booster number B1067 and the launch of the 3000th Starlink satellite this year.

Another Record For SpaceX

On 7 December 2025, SpaceX readied its Falcon 9 B1067 for launch from the NASA Kennedy Space Centre. However, the launch was postponed due to poor weather and then rescheduled for 8 December 2025.

The launch on 8 December 2025 was successful, delivering SpaceX’s 3000th Starlink satellite into low Earth orbit (LEO). This mission, the Starlink 6-92, was the 32nd launch of Falcon 9 B1067 for this year.

With this, SpaceX has broken the record for the most launches in a year for any rocket in history. The launch also marked SpaceX’s 575th flight for its reusable Falcon 9 rocket.

It was also the 350th orbital mission to launch from the coast of Florida. Following this mission on Monday, SpaceX again launched 27 more satellites into low Earth orbit (LEO) on 10 December 2025.

This most recent launch was completed using the SpaceX Falcon 9 B1082, which has already launched 17 times this year. These achievements show that SpaceX is leading the reusable rocket industry despite growing competition from other regions.

Starlink Expands Its Coverage

With the two launches this week, SpaceX has successfully launched a total of 3027 satellites for its Starlink constellation this year. The space firm aims to continue growing its constellation to 42,000 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO).

Currently, there are over 10,000 Starlink satellites in orbit, catering to the needs of millions around the world. By growing this constellation, Starlink hopes to expand its services to more regions across the world.
