The international popularity of Ireland as a filming location for movies and TV series has been fantastic for local technicians and actors at an especially difficult time for their industry.
Now if only all this welcome activity didn’t have to result in drivel like Irish Blood (Sky Witness, 9pm, Sunday, December 14), a Canadian-Irish six-parter filmed primarily in Dublin and Wicklow, and starring Alicia Silverstone.
