The Paley Center for Media’s PaleyFest LA is revealing the first programs set for next year’s PaleyFest LA: Netflix’s “Nobody Wants This,” Apple TV’s “Shrinking” and HBO Max’s “The Pitt.” The org also announced that PaleyFest LA 2026 will return once again to the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, from Monday, April 6 to Sunday, April 12.
More shows will be announced next month on Monday, Jan. 26, and ticket presales will begin on Tuesday, Jan. 27.
“’Nobody Wants This,’ ‘Shrinking’ and ‘The Pitt’ stand out not only for their exceptional writing, but for the way they’ve captured the hearts of audiences worldwide, and we are honored to announce these acclaimed shows as our first selected programs for this year’s PaleyFest LA,” said Maureen J. Reidy, President & CEO, The Paley Center for Media, in a statement.
The PaleyFest is sponsored by Citi, while William S. Paley Foundation is the founding benefactor.
Entering its 43rd year in Los Angeles, the PaleyFest features screenings and conversations for some of the most popular shows on TV.
In the case of “Shrinking,” the Apple TV series (from Warner Bros. TV) returns for Season 3 on Jan. 28. The show was created by Jason Segel (who also stars), Bill Lawrence and Brett Goldstein.
“Nobody Wants This,” the Netflix series from from creator Erin Foster, has been renewed for a Season 3. And HBO Max’s drama series Emmy winner “The Pitt,” from R. Scott Gemmill and John Wells, is back for Season 2 on Thursday, Jan. 8.
“We are so excited to bring ‘Nobody Wants This’ to PaleyFest this year! We’ll discuss icks, hot rabbis, surprise nightstands, and more,” said creator/EP Erin Foster in a statement.
Added ‘Shrinking’ exec producer Bill Lawrence in a statement: “We’re very excited to give ‘Shrinking’ fans a peek of what goes on behind the scenes and give them an early look of a Season 3 finale that we’re very proud of.”
Here’s how tickets will be sold to the next PaleyFest:
Paley President’s Circle; Patron Circle Platinum, Gold, Silver; Patron’s Circle+; Partner Members; and Citi cardmembers can purchase tickets starting on Tuesday, Jan. 27 at 9 a.m. PT
Paley Individual, Family, and Supporting Members can purchase tickets on Thursday, Jan. 29 at 9 a.m. PT
The general public will have access to purchase tickets on Friday, Jan. 30 at 9 a.m. PT
