The winning ticket for the EuroMillions jackpot worth €17 million has been sold in Ireland, the National Lottery has confirmed.
A single winner has been announced as having scooped the enormous sum of money.
The lucky ticket matched numbers 07, 25, 30, 37, 41, with the lucky stars 05 and 11.
The second-largest prize won by an Irish person in tonight’s draw was €30,745.
The last EuroMillions jackpot won in Ireland was €250 million bagged last June, the largest ever sum won by an Irish player.
