The National Lottery has confirmed that an Irish Euromillions player has won €17m.
The numbers for the Euromillions draw on Friday December 12 were: 7, 25, 30, 37, 41 – as well as two lucky stars numbered 5 and 11.
Another player won the Euromillions Plus €500,000 top prize.
The Euromillions Plus numbers were 11, 16, 31, 35, and 38.
A spokesperson said the winning ticket was sold online.
“In total, over 44,000 players in Ireland won prizes in the Euromillions and Plus games,” added the spokesperson.
Players have been urged to check their tickets very carefully to see if they have scooped the jackpot.
Earlier this year, Cork’s Shandon Street was the location for the largest Lotto prize ever won in Ireland.
A family syndicate became winners of the €250m Euromillions jackpot in July.
