Once ‘normal’ life resumed after the pandemic, there were certain lockdown-formed habits that fell away, such as making our own sourdough or shaking our own cocktails. Elevated self-care, however, went nowhere.
Naturally, beauty product sales surged during the lockdowns, when people had to buy everything online and educating ourselves as armchair ingredients experts became a leisure activity. This proved a boon to the beauty business both during and after the pandemic. Another boom was that of at-home beauty tools.
