Jim O’Callaghan:  I don’t believe Ireland is an anti-Semitic country

Justice Minister Jim O’Callaghan has said he doesn’t believe there has been a rise in antisemitism in Ireland but that he is in “close contact” with the garda commissioner to ensure the Jewish community here are protected.

Speaking at Herzog Park in Dublin today at Hanukkah ceremony, Minister O’Callaghan said that while there has been an increase in antisemitism globally, he doesn’t believed this has been the case in Ireland.
