Sarah Ferguson is reportedly “devastated” and has become a “virtual recluse” as she gears up for a significant career shift. Both Sarah, 66, and her ex-husband Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor have been embroiled in controversy due to their connections with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Andrew, 65, was stripped of his prince and Duke of York titles, and the former couple are set to vacate their 30-room residence, Royal Lodge, next year. Andrew is expected to relocate to the Sandringham Estate, while insiders speculate that Sarah might move to Portugal to be nearer to her youngest daughter, Princess Eugenie, and her family.
It’s now believed that Sarah could be planning a tell-all book about her time with the disgraced former prince. The Express previously suggested that such a deal could earn her “millions of pounds”.
Emily Andrews, a Royal expert for Woman magazine, suggests that Sarah’s “warts and all” book could reveal the inner workings of The Firm. This comes as Sarah is reported to have become a “virtual recluse” in recent weeks.
A source confided in Emily: “Sarah has been left devastated by the fallout from the Epstein email scandal. She’s on edge, panicking, and has become a virtual recluse in the past weeks.”

“She has nothing left to lose now, so she could easily sell another autobiography in the US – it worked for Harry.”
The Duke of Sussex is reported to have earned approximately £22million ($27million) from his controversial memoir. The book is said to have shifted over 3.2 million copies during its opening week, with 1.4 million sold across the UK, US and Canada on the first day alone.
A source speaking to the Daily Express claimed Sarah would be “willing to spill everything” in exchange for a “nest egg for the rest of her life”.
They said: “With no substantial income coming in Sarah is now looking to follow in the footsteps of Prince Harry and is willing to pen a tell-all memoir about her time with Andrew and how she was treated by the Royal Family after their split.

“She has a lot of diaries and evidence of the backstabbing, scandals and cover-ups. For the right amount of money she is willing to spill everything, but she’s hoping to make enough money that it will give her a nice little nest egg for the rest of her life. She wants somewhere in the region of £10million and is actively open to offers.”
The insider continued, suggesting the former Duchess of York had previously relied on the generosity of friends and associates. However, they alleged these “freebies” had disappeared following the Epstein controversy.
They added: “Money has never been an issue for Sarah. She spent more than she had and somebody else always picked up the tab. She’s been very well taken care of over the years by various boyfriends, friends and acquaintances.
“Yet for the first time in a good while she is now seriously worried about how on earth she’s going to maintain her lifestyle. She’s too toxic to touch for every single brand and charity she’d previously worked with and even the lavish freebies she used to be gifted have stopped.
“It was quite normal for her to be invited to an expensive hotel or spa and given the five star VIP treatment for a few days in exchange for her simply being there, but now nobody wants her.”
Sarah’s representatives have been approached for comment.
