Important Information
Why Vaccinate? Flu can lead to serious complications in children, like pneumonia. Vaccinating them significantly reduces the risk of transmission to high-risk family members.
Healthcare Staff: Nursing Homes Ireland has expressed concern about the low uptake of flu vaccines among healthcare staff and is urging all personnel to get the jab.
Alternatives: If you cannot attend a clinic, your child can still get the free flu vaccine at participating pharmacies and GP surgeries.
