This harmless hour of seasonal filler goes behind the scenes at Legoland theme park

Lego is, without question, the single greatest toy ever created. The small interlocking bricks, wooden at first, plastic from 1947, invented by a Danish carpenter called Ole Kirk Christiansen in his workshop, have brightened the lives of countless generations of children the world over.
The best Christmas present I ever received as a child was a Lego set. Compared to the elaborate kits of today, it was simple: just multicoloured bricks of different shapes with a few little windows and wheels that came with tiny rubber tyres.
