Johnny passed away peacefully on the 16th of December 2025 in the wonderful hands of the palliative care team in Cork University Hospital.

 

Predeceased by his parents and siblings.

 

Johnny will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Breda, son Michael, daughters Geraldine, Linda and Amanda, son-in-law Pa, Michael’s fiancée Louise, Geraldine’s partner Paul, Amanda’s partner James, his adored grandchildren Jack, Saoirse, Rian and Ayla, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Eamon O’Connor’s Funeral Home, Firies on Friday from 6.00 to 8.00PM. Funeral cortège for Johnny O’Sullivan will arrive to St Gertrude’s Church, Firies on Saturday morning at 10.50AM for Requiem Mass at 11.00AM. Burial will take place afterwards in New Kilnanare Cemetery.
