317 admitted patients are on trolleys in hospitals this morning.
Sligo University Hospital has 35 patients on trolleys, the second highest figure in the country. University Hospital Galway has the third highest with 29 patients.
The largest figure was recorded at University Hospital Limerick, with 46 patients on trolleys.
The INMO says of the total number, 206 are in emergency departments while 111 are in wards elsewhere.
