LDA to open applications for first phase of almost 400 cost rental homes in Adamstown, Dublin

The Land Development Agency (LDA) has announced the opening of applications for the first phase of almost 400 cost rental homes in Adamstown in Dublin.

The 392 homes are located at The Crossings in Adamstown, Lucan, County Dublin. The Crossings consists of nine studios, 189 one-bedroom, 185 two-bedroom and 9 three-bedroom apartments across 3 blocks.

On completion, all 392 apartments will be A-rated, and the first phase of applications for 248 of the homes will open on January 7 2026 at 12pm. The 248 homes involved in the first phase include the 9 studio apartments, 120 one-bedroom, 116 two-bedroom and 3 three-bedroom apartments.

Cost Rental guarantees rent prices at least 25% below local market rates. It is aimed at people who have a net household income of €66,000 or below. Eligible applicants can apply through the LDA website.

Monthly rents for the apartments at The Crossings start at €1,024 for a studio and €1,380 for a one-bedroom apartment. Monthly rents for a two-bedroom apartment start at €1,550 and the rent for a three-bedroom apartment is €1,792.

Your net household income is below €66,000 per annum for Dublin and €59,000 for elsewhere in the country. Applicants will have to prove how they have calculated their net household income.You are not in receipt of any social housing supports (including Rent Supplement or HAP).You do not own a property in Ireland or elsewhere.Your household size matches the size of the property advertised (All members of the household must be living in Ireland at time of applying).Applicants must be permanent residents and tax domicile in Ireland.You can afford to pay the cost rent for the home.
