Deermuid is apple of owner Eddie Drew’s eye, having been rescued from abandonment

He has been a star in some of the big film and TV productions shot in Wicklow, and last month was in Ashford Studios where an upcoming Prime Video drama series is being filmed. Deermuid the deer is in constant demand.
But his owner, Eddie Drew, who runs a family-owned animal wrangling business from Kilmacanogue’s Copsewood Aviaries, said Deermuid relishes Christmas above all else. That’s when he really gets to show off.
