Tom Brady has no choice but to accept ex-wife Gisele Bundchen marrying again in order to avoid any holiday drama and keep their children happy, a source has told the Daily Mail.
Three years after divorcing Brady, Bundchen tied the knot with her new fiancé, jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente, in a secret ceremony on December 3.Â
The Brazilian supermodel’s wedding with Valente, 38, came shortly after they welcomed their first child together, a baby boy.
Brady, who appears to be single despite being linked romantically to several women since the Bundchen split, was made aware that his ex was getting married again this month, the insider claims.
‘It wasn’t a secret to him,’ they said. ‘They still have to talk because of the kids, and though that is often very brief, important milestones, schedules and of course her getting married was something she wasn’t going to keep secret.’
Brady, 48, had two kids with Bundchen, 45 – Benjamin, 16, and Vivian, 13 – while he also has another son, 18-year-old basketball prospect Jack, from a previous relationship with Bridget Moynahan.Â

Yet in October 2022, the NFL icon split from his wife of 13 years. It came just months after dramatically reversing his decision to retire, which was said to be the tipping point for a frustrated Bundchen amid accusations that he prioritized football over their family.
Despite going their separate ways in a fairly acrimonious fashion, a ‘mature’ Brady knows he must be happy for Bundchen after her wedding with Valente, as showing any negative feelings would be ‘unfair to the kids.’
‘He’s happy in the way that is simple: he’s happy that she is happy. Down the line he might get married again and he would want her to be OK with that, so he has to be OK about it,’ the insider said.
‘If he was upset, that would mean he still has feelings for her and that it would be unfair to the kids if he didn’t want to see their mom happy and move on.Â
‘He’s had to move on from two different important relationships, and two mothers to his children. He’s learned a lot along the way, and he’s taking this next stage in stride. He’s being very mature about it and not letting it pick at him negatively in any way.Â
‘It’s life, and everyone is happy. It’s the holiday season, he’s not inviting any drama where there doesn’t have to be.’
The source concluded that Brady will not be paying too much attention to his ex’s love life going forward, something he expects to be reciprocated.Â
‘They are living their own separate lives and anything that actually matters is the safety and happiness of their children,’ they said. ‘That is everything for Tom.’

Prior to their split Bundchen had publicly complained about Brady’s dedication to the NFL which, in her view, came at the expense of their family – especially when he reversed his retirement decision in 2022.
She was even said to have encouraged him to call it a day the first time around amid fears for his health, as well as wanting them to spend more time together as a family.
‘Obviously, I have my concerns – this is a very violent sport, and I have my children and I would like him to be more present,’ she told Elle in September 2022. ‘I have definitely had those conversations with him over and over again.
‘But ultimately, I feel that everybody has to make a decision that works for (them). He needs to follow his joy, too.’
Brady would go on to play one more season in the NFL with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers amid their divorce, before retiring in 2023 after they lost in the first round of the playoffs against the Dallas Cowboys.
Speaking about their split in March 2023, Bundchen insisted she has no lingering animosity towards Brady, telling Vanity Fair: ‘I have always cheered for him, and I would continue forever.
‘If there’s one person I want to be the happiest in the world, it’s him, believe me. I want him to achieve and to conquer. I want all his dreams to come true. That’s what I want, really, from the bottom of my heart.’
Last year, almost 18 months after they called it quits, Brady was roasted by a number of high-profile figures over his divorce among other topics in a live Netflix ‘roast.’
A lot of the ruthless material contained jokes about his split from Bundchen, which he quickly regretted after admitting it didn’t go down too well with his kids.
One shock quip saw comedian Nikki Glaser reference Valente’s martial arts prowess, saying: ‘How much would it suck for Tom… oh my god, just knowing your ex-wife’s new boyfriend could beat your a** while eating hers.’

He quickly regretted taking part in the event, which is said to have upset his kids and GiseleÂ
Brady’s former teammate Drew Bledsoe, who weathered his fair share of digs about the quarterback replacing him for the New England Patriots, also took aim at the divorce.
‘Obviously buddy, you got really used to not being touched,’ Bledsoe said when referencing Brady’s football career.
He then added: ‘Just like the end of the marriage.’
The joke drew a huge gasp from the audience at Kia Forum as an awkward Brady raised his eyebrows and took swigs of two different drinks.
Kevin Hart, who opened the roast, also piled on the Bundchen breakup, saying: ‘You sometimes got to f*** your coach. You know who else f***ed their coach? Gisele. She f***ed that karate man.’
Brady later revealed that some of the quips ‘affected’ his kids during an episode of ‘The Pivot’ with Fred Taylor, Ryan Clark and Channing Crowder.
‘I loved when the jokes were about me. I thought they were so fun,’ he said. ‘I didn’t like the way they affected my kids.
‘It was the bittersweet aspect of when you’re doing something you think is one way and then you realize I wouldn’t do that again because of the way it affected the people I care about the most in the world.
‘It makes you in some ways a better parent going through it because sometimes you’re naïve.’
According to People, Bundchen was also left fuming at the jokes about her and Brady’s former marriage during the special, saying she ‘was deeply disappointed by the disrespectful portrayal of her family on Sunday evening’s roast show.’
Brady, who is currently in the second year of his lucrative ten-year, $375 million analyst contract with Fox, has been linked to various women since his marriage came to an end in 2022.

Earlier this week, Nader – who was recently linked to tennis superstar Carlos Alcaraz – was awkwardly confronted about the legendary quarterback.
The 28-year-old model and former Dancing With The Stars contestant was quizzed over their relationship during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live on Thursday evening.
Nader was joined by Erika Jayne as a fellow guest on the episode, during which, the two were made aware of the fact that they have ‘a lot in common.’
Host Andy Cohen noted: ‘You’ve both dated guys named Tom.’
Jayne, evidently unaware of Nader’s link to the NFL legend, then turned to the model and asked: ‘Wait! Which Tom did you date?’
An awkward-looking Nader attempted to avoid the question and, instead, moaned: ‘Andy!’ in frustration over the host’s question.
However, Cohen doubled down and yelled: ‘Brady! Brady!’
