Kim Kardashian’s attempt at getting a proper family photo might not have turned out the way she hoped, but the reality star insists she did her best to get her four kids to pose accordingly.
“I really tried,” Kardashian, 45, captioned a carousel of pictures she shared to Instagram on Monday, December 22.

In one image, the All’s Fair star tried to corral North, 12, Saint, 10, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6, together, but it seemed as though almost no one wanted to cooperate. North was just a blurry image as she walked out of the shot, while Saint refused to smile and Psalm pulled at the corners of his mouth to make silly faces. Chicago was the only one who sweetly smiled for the camera.
Several fans flooded the comments section and praised Kardashian’s real-life glimpse into motherhood and the struggles of coordinating everyone for a picture perfect shot.
“This is so relatable, the kids never want to take pics with me anymore,” one person wrote.

Another added, “We all live the same lives (when it comes to pics with kids).”
“It’s like taking a picture with ants, they do not stand still!!” a third person joked.
This year’s photo was a far cry from Christmases past. Last year, Kim and her brood were all color coordinated and posed to perfection in front of a Christmas tree, while 2023’s annual pic featured a monochromatic look with the family all dressed in black and silver.
