Kerry County Council to salt roads tonight as frosty conditions expected

Kerry County Council will be salting roads tonight, as frosty conditions are expected.

Temperatures are forecast to fall below zero overnight bringing freezing conditions.

The council says it will spread salt on the county’s main roads from 10.30pm to ensure safer travelling conditions on Christmas Day.

Kerry County Council is urging people to reduce their speed over the coming days and to stay safe over Christmas.
