The Emerald Rollers Irish national women’s basketball team
Members of the Irish women’s wheelchair basketball team say they have “never felt so uncomfortable” due to the behaviour of Ryanair staff as they tried to board a flight to England on Friday, December 12.
The flight, which was due to take off from Dublin Airport and travel to Newcastle-upon-Tyne at 7.40pm, did not set off until after 9pm – with staff reportedly trying to blame the nine wheelchair users for the delay.
