TOKYO — Fujitsu is joining a project led by Japanese tech investor SoftBank Group to develop next-generation memory for artificial intelligence and supercomputers, Nikkei has learned, as Japan looks to revive the expertise that once helped make its companies some of the world’s top memory producers.
