Princess Charlotte has been showered in praise by Royal fans after stopping to take a selfie with a woman during the family’s walkabout around Sandringham.

King Charles, Queen Camilla, the Waleses and other senior members of the royal family greeted adoring crowds on Christmas morning.

Yesterday, Princess Charlotte, 10, and her brothers, Prince George, 12, and Prince Louis, seven, made their way around the Norfolk village on the annual walkabout.

A short 28-second clip shows the young royal waving to onlookers while wearing a light and dark brown coat on the chilly morning.

And as Charlotte leans in to shake the hand of one fan, kindly wishing them a ‘merry Christmas’, a woman asks for a photograph with the young royal.

In the video, which now has over 2.2million views, the woman said, ‘Charlotte, can we have a photo with you?’ to which Charlotte softly replied, ‘Yes.’

After asking if she would be able to take the snap, a sweet photo of the lady and the young princess is shown on screen.

The TikTok user’s comments have since been flooded with praise for Charlotte, who has been described as ‘so polished’ and ‘polite’.

‘Princess Charlotte is becoming a very popular young royal. The future of the royal family is safe in her hands,’ one wrote.

‘Oh, she’s so polished and confident,’ a second penned, while another noted how ‘polite’ Prince William and Princess Catherine’s children were.

‘She looks so much like her father,’ one remarked as one fan dubbed her the ‘double act of her grandmother,’ the late Queen Elizabeth.

‘I see Charlotte getting more confident around the public these days. Good on her.’

‘She is so polite and adorable,’ a viewer said. ‘Such a well-mannered young lady.’

It comes after adorable photos captured the moment Charlotte and Louis took it upon themselves to say hello to the crowd – with their big brother George just a few steps behind.

Gifts for the children were in abundance throughout the morning as Louis was seen clinging onto a giant red Lindor chocolate, which he eyed up gleefully.

The hope of catching a glimpse of the youngsters on their walk to church is a major draw for royal fans who gather close to the church in Sandringham every year.

Other family members seen on the walk include the King’s other brother Prince Edward, his wife, the Duchess of Edinburgh, his son, James Viscount Severn, 17, and daughter, Lady Louise, 22.

Meanwhile, Princess Anne and her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, were on the guest list, alongside daughter Zara and son-in-law Mike Tindall and their three children, Mia, 11, Lena, seven, and Lucas, four.

Anne’s son Peter Phillips was also in attendance with his two daughters, Savannah and Isla. Earlier this year, Peter announced his engagement to girlfriend Harriet Sperling.

Now, the rule that only married couples can attend has been relaxed, it’s very likely she was asked by King Charles to join the family. She has already met the King and Queen and members of the wider family at events such as Royal Ascot.

As the family left the service afterwards, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, Beatrice’s husband, wished members of the Press a merry Christmas.

The royals were watched on by a 500-strong crowd of fans, some of whom had been queuing for hours to catch a glimpse of the family.
