Viewers have been gripped this week by a new minute-by-minute account of the sinking of the Titanic in 1912, an event that ended Edwardian confidence.
Tonight’s finale shows the final horror of the sinking, told through the words of people who were there, including an Irish passenger, Eugene Daly from Athlone and Irish stewardess Violet Jessop.
