A man in his 30s is fighting for his life after suffering a severe head injury in a “violent, disgusting” attack outside a takeaway in Co Roscommon in the early hours of New Year’s Day.
Gardaí have arrested a man in his 40s in connection with the assault in Ballaghaderreen.
