A tremendous sense of community spirit was on full display when friends, family and neighbours of six-year-old Croía Delaney Prince from Wexford came together for a special fundraising event that raised an impressive €16,900 for charity.
Three years ago, Croía had a brief encounter with another girl who was just a few years older than she was, and during the conversation, the girl, whom Croía had never previously met, told her she admired her beautiful, long hair, and how she wished she had hair like hers. After they parted ways, the curious Croía asked her mother, Terri, why the little girl didn’t have any hair.
