Kardashian rocked the ultimate party dress for the occasion: a black sheer sparkly halter bodycon number that featured a blindingly sparkly silver insect motif across the chest and a daring hip-high slit, also lined with silver sparkles. In one photo, she revealed that the dress was also backless. It’s only New Year’s once a year, after all. She wore her hair down in loose, messy waves and wrapped up in a fur shawl.

A thigh-high slit
Kardashian’s festive, winter wardrobe has been filled with stand-out pieces so far. For the annual Kardashian Christmas Eve party, she wore an archival silver piece from Thierry Mugler’s 1986 collection, featuring a divisive peplum detail and festive fur trim. A couple of weeks earlier, she wore retro pink fur-trimmed lingerie. More recently, Kardashian has been in Aspen wearing even more fur—like, lots of it.

Kardashian hasn’t just been giving fans glimpses into her winter wardrobe—she also offered a peek into her family Christmas, sharing that each of her four children, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm, got a puppy as a present. “I really tried,” she added in a caption.
