John Lawlor, Rabane, Castleblakeney, Ballinasloe, County Galway, 5th January 2026, peacefully at Portiuncula University Hospital.

 

John, predeceased by his beloved wife Maureen, infant daughter Ellen, grandson Proinsias, brothers Des, Willie and Jimmy.

 

Sadly missed by his daughters Kathleen Nolan (Lehenagh), Mary Shaughnessy (Ballygar), Patricia Burke (Miltown), sons Seamus (Ballygar), Sean (Rabane), Dermot (Castleblakeney), Oliver (Dublin), sons-in-law, Frank, Paraic and Mickie, daughters-in-law Tina, Maureen, Una and Siobhan, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers Tim, Noel and Danny, sisters Helen and Mai and a wide circle of relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Caltra Community Centre (H53E5C9) on Thursday 8th January 2026 from 5.00pm to 8.00pm.

 

Requiem Mass for John will take place in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Caltra at 12.00pm on Friday 9th January with burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.
