Learning to “take a few risks” and playing with a “nothing to lose” mindset helped Fergal Boland re-establish himself as a key player on the Mayo football panel after he was dropped in 2023.
Tooreen subsequently lost the 2022/23 All-Ireland intermediate hurling final to Monaleen in what was a challenging time in his career, though he bounced back from those setbacks.
