The couple first met in the library at MTU back in 2014.
Studying isn’t the couple’s only shared interest of course. Megan, of Passage West, is heavily involved in GAA. “I come from a big GAA family and have been involved in Passage West GAA club, undertaking the PRO role from 2016 to 2024, and currently playing on the recently revived junior Camogie team. I am also the current PRO of the Seandun City Division, and you’ll most likely find me on some sideline with my camera at any given weekend,” she said.

“We were delighted to have my grandmother, Nora Cotter, there on the day to celebrate with us. We also had relatives that had travelled from both England and Scotland to be with us on our special day, so it was lovely to have them with us and to catch up with everyone over that weekend. One of Paul’s groomsmen Rob flew in from Porto for the occasion too,” said Megan.
Megan and Paul’s mini Dachshund served as ring bearer on the day.
After the ceremony, the couple hosted a reception for their guests at the Kingsley Hotel, but not before they took a detour to Supervalu Páirc Uí Chaoimh for some pictures.

They had high praise for the hotel.
“We were very nervous the days leading up to the wedding, as there was supposed to be a yellow rain warning,” the couple said. Luckily, the rain held off until after the pictures.
