The controversial sending off of Easkey marksman Andy Kilcullen was a turning point in this thrilling All-Ireland Junior Hurling Championship final in Croke Park.

The Sligo men were reduced to 14 men when referee Eamon Furlong sent off the Easkey marksman for a frontal challenge on Kilbrittain’s Mark Hickey in the 40th minute.
