Mezzo soprano Sharon Carty

Sharon Carty is a former teacher turned mezzo soprano. Carty, who lives in Celbridge, is a graduate of the Royal Irish Academy of Music (RIAM), University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, and the Oper Frankfurt Young Artists programme, and is an artistic partner to the Irish National Opera.
She’ll be singing Dido’s Lament at ‘Dido: Remember Me’ in the Classics Now Festival at RIAM Dublin on January 30 and will also perform at the Dublin Bach Cantatas Series at St Ann’s Church on Dawson Street on February 1.
