King Edward VII and Andrew Mountbatten Windsor severely damaged royal reputation
As the scandal consuming Andrew Mountbatten- Windsor spiralled out of control last year the British Royal family endured another annus horribilis. As somebody with a background in public relations I am scratching my head wondering who is advising this family as they stumble from one crisis to the next.
I am reminded of the line spoken by Tony Blair in the film The Queen in the aftermath of Diana’s death when, in exasperation, he exclaims of the Royals – “will somebody please save these people from themselves”.
