An approved housing body is expecting to deliver 100 social homes in Killarney in the coming months.
Co-operative Housing Ireland delivered 192 houses in Kerry.
117 of those social homes were opened in Cronin’s Wood in Killarney, 50 in Banshagh, Killorglin and 25 in Barraduff.
Eoin Carroll is director of corporate services with Co-operative Housing Ireland.
He says they’ve a very positive relationship with Kerry County Council and work together to identify social housing needs in the county.
