An ambitious menu slows down service at this Middle Eastern spot, but the food is reasonably priced and worth a try

Beitna restaurant on Dublin’s Dame Street
As most of us are currently enmeshed in the annual January challenge of making ends meet while still trying to have a life, I thought I should tell you about a new and reasonably priced dry restaurant on Dublin’s Dame Street which I visited earlier this month before a screening of Marty Supreme at the Irish Film Institute.
(More on this later, as the fact that we were on our way to a movie is relevant. In terms of the film itself, my tuppence worth is that, while Timothée Chalamet is a joy, the script is a mess and the whole thing would have benefitted from being half an hour shorter.)
