Leeds are finally set to sign Facundo Buonanotte.

Buonanotte was due to sign for Leeds in the summer transfer window before Chelsea swooped in and hijacked the loan deal.

However, Chelsea have now terminated his loan and the Whites have agreed a deal to take him for the second half of the campaign.

Now, an update has been shared on when he will travel to Elland Road to complete the formalities of the move.

It looks as though Daniel Farke will finally get his man, and have a different option in attacking midfield.

Why Leeds fans will not be too excited just yet

Buonanotte looks destined to join the Whites, but the supporters will not be getting too excited at the moment.

He was set to join them in the summer, and even had a flight booked, but it was cancelled due to logistical reasons, and he ended up going to Stamford Bridge just days later.

However, he hardly featured in London, playing just eight times for the Blues, and is now set to finally join the Peacocks, months after he snubbed them.

Buonanotte played just one Premier League game for ChelseaHe featured three times in the Carabao Cup and the same amount in the Champions LeagueHe also made one appearances in the FA Cup

Until the deal is officially announced, the fanbase will not be getting their hopes up after what happened last time.

There is still the possibility that something happens to derail the deal, so until he is pictured in a Whites shirt, there will still be worries over the deal.

It seems as though he has realised the mistake that he made, and it may make him more determined to make an impact in LS11, to prove Chelsea wrong.

However, he may have a tough job on his hands to convince at Leeds after what happened previously.
