John Lowe, author of ‘Money Doctors 2026’
The latest edition of the top-selling personal finance guide that helps families become financially secure, and outlines how they can save and make money, has been launched.
Money Doctors 2026 is written by finance guru John Lowe who has been producing the book for 21 years.
The latest edition of the book is fully updated and indexed, Mr Lowe said.
It includes 40 tax-saving tips and a synopsis of Budget 2026, while there is a guide to mortgages for first-time borrowers, and a chapter on a DIY low-cost way to make a will.
For the last few years the annual publication has incorporated a 148-page booklet entitled ‘Teenagers – You & Your Money’.
The booklet is made freely available in an e-book format to all transition-year classes in Ireland along with an e-copy of the annual guide, also free.
Each transition year co-ordinator or principal will be given a special code in September for the 2026/2027 class to download both books.
Mr Lowe said this involves 729 secondary schools and over 60,000 transition year students. “We personally call each school twice,” Mr Lowe.
