LIMERICK City and County Council is advising motorists and road users of upcoming road works along Greenhill Road (L10199) in the Garryowen area of Limerick city.

The works, which commenced last week, will run until Friday, March 27, between 8am and 6pm and will involve a junction realignment, footpath replacement and a macadam road surface overlay.

The scheme forms part of the council’s ongoing programme to improve road safety, accessibility and surface quality on key urban routes.

Localised traffic management will be in place for the duration of the project, and road users are asked to allow extra time for their journeys and to follow all on-site signage and instructions.

While some temporary disruption is expected, the council has confirmed that access for residents and business operators will be maintained throughout the works, and every effort will be made to minimise inconvenience to the local community. Updates will be issued as the project progresses.
