Ireland has signalled it will support any EU response to potential US tariffs, with the Taoiseach insisting that “the sovereignty of Greenland and Denmark cannot be violated”.
Micheál Martin said Europe must be ready to respond if US president Donald Trump proceeds with threats to implement a wave of increasing tariffs on member states, while warning against any “knee‑jerk” reaction.
