Denise O’Sullivan finally completed her transformative American story this weekend, settling closer to her Cork home, but there is rather less certainty surrounding the future of Ireland’s other world-class talent, Katie McCabe.
O’Sullivan literally hit the target on her Liverpool debut, scoring in a facile FA Cup win against lower league opponents London Bees, while McCabe’s Arsenal were also easy winners against Aston Villa.
