Ballisnahina, Shrule, Co Mayo and formerly of Ballycurrin – peacefully at Friars Lodge Nursing Home in her 97th year.

Pre-deceased by her parents Michael and Margaret Biggins, her beloved husband Tom, sisters Phil, Mary, Sr. Teresa, brothers Paddy, Tom, William, Gerard and son-in-law Martin Joe Keane.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mam, Nora on the 16th September 2025. Nora left this world surrounded by the warmth of her family. Her legacy lives on through her devoted sons and daughters, Mary Teresa Keane (Kilcolgan), Martina Sunderland (Sheffield), Denis (Ballisnahina), Michael (Ballynalty), Brendan (Moycullen), Padraig (Ballisnahina) and Bernard (Monaghan), her daughters-in-law Bridie, Mary-T, Bridie, Martina and son-in-law John Sunderland, her 19 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, her sisters, Angela (Tipperary), Anne (California), Frances (Dublin), Imelda (Corofin), her brother John (Boston), cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Nora will repose at Ryders Funeral Parlour, Headford (H91 R2V6) on Thursday, 18th September from 5:30pm until 7:30pm.

Removal from the home of her son Padraig on Friday, 19th September for Requiem Mass at 2pm in The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Glencorrib.

Burial afterwards in Moyne Cemetery.
