Ireland U20s head coach Andrew Browne has named his 29-man Ireland squad for the upcoming Six Nations.

Leinster man Sami Bishti will captain the Ireland U20s, sponsored by PwC, as they target a first championship title since 2023.

Four players return from the squad which took on last year’s Six Nations and World U20s Championship, with Donnacha McGuire, Charlie Molony, Derry Moloney, and Tom Wood (son of Ireland legend Keith) returning for a second year running.

Speaking at the squad announcement on Tuesday, Ireland U20s head coach Andrew Browne said:

We have been working hard together as an extended squad for a number of months and it’s an exciting time for these young players, who have the honour of representing the wider group in the Six Nations.

We, as coaches, have pushed the players over the last number of months and I have been impressed by their work-rate, commitment, and application. Now our focus turns to performance and the opening game against France, which we know will be a big challenge first up.

The 29-man squad features 17 Leinster players, eight from Munster, and two each from Connacht and Ulster.
