Ryanair boss Michael O’Leary said that within another decade he hopes China’s state-owned plane-maker Comac will be a viable option alongside Boeing and Airbus for buying aircraft.

However, he pointed out that Comac remains years away from having an aircraft that would be a fit for the Ryanair fleet and being able to ramp up production.
