Harlan Coben’s long-time collaborator and BAFTA-nominated screenwriter Danny Brocklehurst is working on a new series, described as a “caper drama”, according to Deadline.

The publication has reported that the new show will be titled After the Move to Nevada, and that it’s being developed by Disney+ (although Deadline also said that Disney declined to comment). It’s been reported that the drama will follow a gangster movie fan, who then goes to a crime convention in Nevada. No cast news has been announced.

Brocklehurst has previously worked on a number of Harlan Coben’s hit shows, including the most recent Run Away, Stay Close, and Fool Me Once, which became one of Netflix’s most-watched series of 2024.

He was also the writer and creator of BBC period drama Ten Pound Poms, as well as Sky’s hit comedy series Brassic, both of which also starred Michelle Keegan.

We already know that another new drama from Brocklehurst is on the way to ITV, with Adultery – revealed to be a “provocative” love story about “messy complications” that occur between “two ordinary families” – set to be coming soon.

As for what else to expect from Disney+, we know that a second season of Rivals is heading our way, promising more “jaw-dropping twists” and the return of the fan-favourite cast.

We’ve already been treated to first-look images of the returning Emmy and BAFTA Award-winning series, which was based on the bestselling novel by Dame Jilly Cooper.

We know that things will pick up after the dramatic cliffhanger of the first season, with David Tennant’s Lord Baddingham officially back – and out for vengeance.
