The sculpture will be 8 feet tall and 16 feet wide, honoring former Buffalo Bills coach Sean McDermott.Â

The piece is outside of Prohibition 2020 in Orchard Park. Jones said that they sponsored lunch for the volunteers who showed up to help shovel and pack snow into the base of the sculpture.
When done, it will feature many McDermott icons like a baseball cap and his microphone headset he wore during games.
Jones said it is a gift from Bills Mafia, “We’ve done sculptures of just about everything Buffalo Bills from the players to the charging buffaloes and everything in between, and never done anything for Sean and I thought this would be, it just wouldn’t be fair for Sean to leave Buffalo without having his own snow sculpture, so we wanted to do something specifically for him,”.Â
The sculpture is expected to be finished around 2 p.m. Friday. Jones said he always looks forward to seeing people’s reactions to his art, and while he hasn’t heard from any of the players or McDermott, he hopes they enjoy it.Â
Jones said that as Make-A-Wish was a cause close to McDermott’s heart, there will also be a link for donations, if those who come out to see the sculpture would like to make a donation. He is also selling T-shirts on his website. A portion of those proceeds will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
