Fair City actor Gerard Jordan (34) and his partner Jo have announced they are expecting their ninth child.
Jordan, who is best known for playing character Steo Nash on the soap, has eight young children with partner Jo: Jasper, Hugo, River, Sage, Saint, Zen, Enzo and Halo, who was born last year.
In a post on Instagram, the actor shared a video of a baby scan with the caption “Baby number 9…”.
The 34-year-old studied acting in Liberties College and played a landlord for a brief time on Fair City after he graduated.
Acting took a back seat after he had children, but the late Dancing with the Stars judge Julian Benson encouraged him to return to the field and became his agent.
He then joined Fair City once again as his character Nash, with the support of Benson.

Jordan started his family when he was 25 and told the Irish Independent in June that he and his partner Jo, knew what they wanted from an early age.
He said: “I know 25 seems young, but we were very mature in the decision and [knew] what we wanted at that time.”
