Saturday was a special day in Dingle, as all six men’s All-Ireland-winning club teams came together to celebrate a Munster clean sweep.
The first weekend of the finals had seen Upperchurch-Drombane (Tipperary) and Kilbrittain (Cork) claim the intermediate and junior hurling titles, before Kerry’s dominance began with Ballymacelligott (junior) and An Ghaeltacht (intermediate) winning the football titles.

The senior finals the following weekend went much the same way, with Waterford’s Ballygunner and Kerry’s Dingle completing a historic clean sweep for the Munster counties.
With all three football champions coming from Kerry, and two coming from the Dingle peninsula, it was perhaps no surprise that that was the venue for Saturday’s epic gathering.

Amazing footage filtered in from Dingle early on Saturday afternoon, as Dingle, Ballymacelligott, Kilbrittain, Upperchurch and Ballygunner gathered in Kruger’s Pub for an All-Ireland celebration like no other.
The five cups were on display, with the pub packed out with the five panels decked out in county and club gear.

An Ghaeltacht were in Kanturk early on Saturday, but will join the party later in the evening, as the six teams make their way around some of Dingle’s most famous pubs.
Next up is Páidà Ó Sé’s Pub in Ventry, before a trip to Paul Geaney’s Bar in Dingle town, the pub owned by the Dingle captain.
The amazing gathering was the brainchild of Southern Star writer Kieran McCarthy.
Earlier on Saturday, Kilbrittain had shared photos of their squad preparing to depart for Dingle.
The Cork club had already been seen celebrating their junior All-Ireland alongside Upperchurch-Drombane’s squad outside Cork Courthouse earlier this month.
