Reports this Tuesday suggest that a rising Bray Wanderers star is set to join his brother – a Republic of Ireland senior international – at Bristol City.
18-year-old Rhys Knight was a breakthrough star for Bray last season, starting 22 First Division games as they narrowly missed out on promotion.

The winger is reportedly set for a big move to the Championship, where he is set to join his brother Jason on the books at Bristol City.

Bray Wanderers’ Rhys Knight is reportedly on the verge of joining Championship side Bristol City.
Rep of Ireland Player Tracker shared the report on Tuesday afternoon, and whispers of the move have also been circulating on the English club’s online social forums in recent days.
The report suggests that the move is “very close,” and notes that Rhys Knight having turned 18 means he will be able to make the move to England instantly.

Knight’s Bray teammate Billy O’Neill is also reportedly being pursued by Bristol City, though Brexit rules mean that O’Neill would be prevented from completing the move until after his 18th birthday.
It would be a big move for 18-year-old Rhys Knight, whose brother Jason is the club captain at Ashton Gate.
Ireland international Jason played every game of Bristol City’s Championship campaign last season, but has missed a significant part of this campaign due to injury.
That abductor injury not only saw Knight miss almost two months of Championship action, but also saw him absent for Ireland’s historic World Cup qualifying double-header against Portugal and Hungary in November.
Jason Knight returned to the starting line-up last weekend, after a brief recurrence of that injury, and could soon be joined by his younger brother Rhys as the club chases promotion.
Bristol City are right in the mix to make the leap to the Premier League, currently sitting in the fourth and final playoff place in 6th in the Championship table.
