The chair of Rowing Ireland will tell a Dáil committee today that it is “not acceptable” that any of its athletes had negative experiences in its high performance programme.

It is one of a number of hearings called following revelations in the Sunday Independent of a toxic high performance culture in Rowing Ireland across two Olympic cycles, Tokyo 2021 and Paris 2024.
